A brave and uncompromising artist who is not afraid of experiments in his work, searching for undiscovered guitar sounds and combining musical trends from different parts of the world. Piotr Restecki’s concerts are a real musical journey, from the land of rhythm & blues, through lyrical ballads, jazz feeling, Latin madness, to shamanic trance. On stage, the artist does not shy away from humor and irony, which add charm and spice to his performances. The artist’s rich phonographic output (4 original albums) and numerous concerts played not only in Poland, but also in Europe and China are Piotr Restecki’s best showcase. The artist, as one of the few Polish guitarists, can boast of concerts played in the company of world-famous musicians such as: Tommy Emmanuel, Preston Reed, Jesse Cook and Jon Gomm. Finalist of the “Must be the music” program, the first edition of the TV talent show “Got Talent”. He also performed in the TV program “Kuba Wojewódzki”. Mentor of television programs promoting young talents (“Super Kid”) broadcast on Telewizja Polsat. He performs as a guest with various stars of the Polish music scene, including Andrzej Piaseczny and Kasa Kasowski. Piotr Restecki is a laureate of national and international guitar festivals, as well as a juror of the largest international instrumental music festivals. In 2012, he was the only instrumentalist to win a special award at the Student Song Festival in Krakow, awarded by the composer Zygmunt Konieczny. Author of hundreds of compositions for acoustic guitar, performed by guitarists around the world.
